Our Teachers
We pride ourselves on selecting only the most suitably qualified teachers for our classes. Each candidate is carefully chosen and must successfully complete an online induction which involves a review of teaching methodologies, classroom management, and marking conventions. In addition to this, our teachers boast the following attributes and qualities:
Engaging Communicators
Our teachers understand that in order to learn, kids must be engaged in the classroom. This requires a multisensory approach that caters for all learning styles.
Syllabus Savvy
Our materials are intimately linked to the Board of Studies KLAs (Key Learning Areas). Mr Tim’s teachers have an in-depth knowledge of the school curriculum.
Qualified
There is a difference between a tutor and a teacher. Tutors may be university students studying education or similar, whereas teachers are degree qualified educators. This is an important distinction when choosing a tuition centre for your child.

We pride ourselves on partnering with you, the parents, without forgetting the importance of placing the child at the centre of all we do.
Nurturing and Caring
Great teachers understand that children are under enormous pressure to perform and need a nurturing, caring teacher to help them on their learning journey. After a long day or week at school, the last thing children need is a sour, grumpy person at the front of the room.

At Mr Tim’s Classroom, we regularly check in with kids anonymously to attain feedback about our teachers. We do this to ensure kids look forward to attending our centres and are benefiting from our classes.
